It is a joy to see the deep trust in God that those I serve live out every day. But there is also a frustration to see generational poverty, repeated poor choices, giving into Satan’s lies and the oppression they experience from landlords, government and commerce.
When Nicolas finally came to Dr. Sung Sim at the mobile dental clinic over the summer, his tooth had been bothering him for a while; a long while, really, and the tooth was to the point that it had to be extracted.

This past weekend was the Midwest SIAFU Men’s Conference at Morning Star Ranch in Kansas. As I got settled there, a young man caught my attention.
As I walk into the World Impact Thrift Store for each of my shifts during the week, there is excitement in my heart as I wonder what that day at the store is going to be like. In the midst of putting newly tagged merchandise on the shelves or running the cash register, I meet people from all walks of life.
