One of World Impact’s initiatives is Incarceration to Incorporation (I2I), which utilizes Siafu leadership training homes to turn prisoners into pastors. This bold move has expanded our church planting efforts and opened new ministry opportunities across the board – from prison personnel to local urban pastors.
I have been a discipleship group (D-Group) leader for the last two years for middle school girls at Los Angeles Christian School. It has been a huge catalyst of growth for me since I spend the majority of my life with kindergarteners.
It is incredible to watch God’s deep love awaken hearts to His rescue. We were invited into a mentoring role by a precious couple with three little ones. We have known Jules for 20 years, and we are getting to know Jas. Abuse, growing up too fast, surrounded by substance abuse as kids, and experimenting as adults are some areas we have covered over the months.
