For Unto You Is Born This Day…

“And (the shepherds) went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger. And when they saw it, they made known the saying that had been told them concerning this child. And all who heard it wondered at what the shepherds told them.” Luke 2:16-17

Just as the shepherds went with haste to see and worship the Prince of Peace, it is our desire at World Impact this Christmas to come in worship before the King. Today, each one of us still has the opportunity to come to Him in surrender, worshipping at His feet. Then go out and tell others all that we have seen!

At World Impact, this means empowering urban Christian leaders. It means linking arms with our sisters and brothers in the city, resourcing them with the Evangel School of Urban Church Planting or The Urban Ministry Institute. It means developing missional partnerships through the Urban Church Association and the Associate program. It means giving quality Christian education to the youth of our cities, and it also means empowering men and women who are incarcerated to lead for Christ.

With Christ’s birth, a true and lasting hope entered the world. A hope that has the power to change the lives of everyone who believes—from young children, to the incarcerated, to urban Christian leaders. At the core of World Impact our missionaries, staff and partners desire to proclaim the love and hope of the Prince of Peace.

This Christmas, will you join us as we bring our offering to the King? Come with us to bow at His feet and worship Him. Then join us as we go and tell of all we have seen. May you and your family have a blessed holiday surrounded with friends and filled with the hope of Christ. Merry Christmas!
