Newark Christian School

“NCS feels like a family. I learned to treat others the way I want to be treated and to pray for those that have wronged me.”
-Stacey, NCS sixth grader

“I love what the power of prayer can do. I am amazed at the difference prayer makes in our classroom atmosphere. Recently, I had a couple of students stay after school to talk about their behavior in class. My co-teacher talked and prayed with them. I can’t help but think how other schools would punish them and move on. We have something at our school that’s so much more powerful; prayer opens a pathway to truth and change of heart. This is why I love teaching at Newark Christian School.”
-Kelly MacDonald, NCS teacher

“I am a Haitian preacher, Bible teacher and worship leader. The community that I am working with is too financially poor to support my ministry. My dream for my kids’ education and the standard of Christian life that I want for them would be extremely hard without NCS. So, I’m very pleased to express my gratitude to NCS and our precious sponsors. May the Lord continue to bless them so abundantly.”
-Vital Marcelin, NCS parent

“It seems to me that there is a difference in working with children to please God or to work for a paycheck only. All Newark Christian School classes memorize Scripture weekly. I believe that planting Scripture in children’s minds at an early age can be used by the Holy Spirit for many years to come.”
-Mysy Bruno, NCS teacher
