Through thrift stores, medical assistance, schools, and more, World Impact is mobilizing local churches to be outposts of the Kingdom of God.
In our thrift stores, we are sharing and showing the love of Jesus Christ by providing affordable merchandise to our neighbors. We’re also providing employment opportunities for ex-offenders and others who struggle to find regular work.
Through Legal Aid Clinics, those who usually cannot afford legal help are getting the assistance they desperately need. Some walk through the door with small questions and problems. Others walk in and the world lays heavy on their shoulders, backs hunched and broken with the weight of anxiety. Each is met with dignity and kindness, and given the greatest gift – time and concern. They leave a little lighter, having been listened to and having started on the path to finding real answers.
Other ministries, such as the Mobile Clinic in Wichita, provide medical assistance to those who need it most. The Mobile Clinic allows us to bring hope and healing into church-planting neighborhoods. In addition, we regularly partner with churches who host a medical team that provides basic medical care at different locations.
These and many more practical outreach ministries provide a great opportunity to show the love of God to the community, provide ongoing care, and introduce many to our local churches.
