CHURCH-BASED SEMINARY IN LONDON

We are continually seeking ways to serve church and ministry leaders around the world for the purpose of spreading the Gospel. What began in cities in the United States is slowly expanding to other countries in surprising ways.

Bob Stevenson, Director of Church-Based Seminary, has been working to establish a Church-Based Seminary satellite in London to support churches across Estonia, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Northern Ireland, and the U.K.

The tough reality faced by pastors and church workers serving in urban communities is that money and time are too scarce for these valiant leaders to engage in long, traditionally structured pastoral training while they serve in bi-vocational roles.

Without training geared towards their need and circumstances, building healthy churches in these communities is practically impossible. It is estimated that 95% of the world’s church leaders have no formal ministry training. World Impact’s Church-Based Seminary program is an answer to this challenge!

The Urban Ministry Institute’s (TUMI) curriculum was developed just for this purpose. Add to this is the fact that we can now provide training anywhere around the world via online instruction using computer, tablet, or phone!

Our core training curricula include:

  • Fight the Good Fight of Faith – new believer follow-up/discipleship curriculum, designed to
  • ground the student in the basics of the Christian faith
  • Cornerstone – a cost and time effective training curriculum to provide a sound foundation of Scripture to outfit those who minister as pastor, lay leader, or Christian worker
  • Capstone – a seminary-level training program designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective ministry and church leadership

Pray specifically for the Church in Europe to be revitalized and engaged in spreading the great news of Christ’s love for all. Thank you for walking with us in prayer and support.
