Browatzke April Prayer Letter

Dear Friends,

Here is the latest on what you are funding. Did you know that only 5% of the world’s pastors have been trained? If we filled the seminaries, that number would only jump to 6%. Training is being brought to the pastors, most of whom are bi-vocational.

I attended the Evangel School of Urban Church Planting last August and listened to the international teams outline their plan to train 300 church plant teams in the next three years. Wow!

I recently received this update: Reverend Dr. Maurice Mathu Omulubi, facilitated his first church plant school three months after his training and commissioning, where 74 church planters on 19 teams, were equipped, commissioned, and released into the harvest in Kenya. He facilitated his second Evangel School January 7-10, 2020. Fifteen pastors from the Democratic Republic of Congo who came through the Kyangwali refugee camp in western Uganda attended. This brought joy but also complexity to the training as Swahili is the language spoken by these pastors. They did not understand English or Lunyoro, the language of the locals from the region in Western Uganda where other churches planters came from for the training for a total of 28 teams. Another 30 teams were scheduled to have been trained in March. That is 80 teams!

You are making an eternal difference. You are changing legacies and expanding the Kingdom of Heaven. I pray that your giving helps you experience God’s delight. I would love to hear what God is doing in your life and where you are building legacy, and share how God is using your offerings through World Impact.

May God receive all the glory as we Transform Communities Together,
