Building Blocks of Faith

Do you remember sitting in a Sunday School Class as a child? Pictures of Jesus smiling at you on the wall. Noah’s ark and all the animal toys scattered across the floor of the classroom. You might remember the first time you read a Bible verse in front of the class. These are the building blocks of our faith that we consider essential in every church. The church’s neighborhood should not determine the level of care, concern or quality of a child’s Sunday School experience. Our mission enables us to equip urban Children’s ministry leaders to provide the best possible opportunity for urban children to hear the gospel in a safe environment.

Recently we gathered a new church plant team’s children’s ministry team to help them walk through an assessment of their current ministry activities and develop plans to reach the apartment complex full of children across the street from their new location. Here is what the Children’s leader said about our time together, “I have felt very unequipped, but after attending the session, it has given me the tools, insight, and the direction I feel like I needed.” After helping her team to develop a 6 month plan, she commented, “This has been so wonderful, I feel like I can do it, and I feel like God has allowed me to be here to receive just what He knew I needed and I am excited.” With your support and prayers we are equipping leaders to reach the children in our city with the very best God has for them. Thank you!

Will you join us in transforming this city? We have three different opportunities for you to be a supporter for this ministry: Pray, Participate, Provide.

  • Pray for all the Children’s ministry leaders in our city. They are planting the seeds of a lifetime in the souls of our future community leaders.
  • Participate by encouraging the children’s ministry leaders in your home church this weekend. We often overlook these important servants in the Kingdom of God.
  • Provide financial support for our ministry to the urban leaders in the city. Would you consider a monthly or one-time gift? Thank you for equipping the urban church!
