Entz June Prayer Letter

Dear Friends and Family,

The world changed in March. Our ministry focus did not.

With that said, we did have to scramble to live into ministry in new ways. We had to cancel healing groups, and many training sessions and conferences. I was skeptical how we could do our Trauma Healing program online. But, almost immediately we were able to pilot some online groups. They went very well.

Andy and I are not your IT or tech people, just ask anyone! But amazingly we are adapting and learning new skills that help us conduct online healing groups. We will also be piloting training online.

There is a rhythm that happens in group zoom meetings. It takes a little time to get used to the 1.2 second delay. I find myself coming very close to the computer to see the individuals better. Watching faces and nuances in body movement are important during healing groups. Laughter is important, even when talking about heavy subjects. It takes more time to build connection in the group when you are at a distance. We can even do breakout rooms for small group discussion.

We continue to learn how to adapt in a world that changed faster than any of us could have imagined. We are determined to continue the mission that the Lord has entrusted to us.

The lost still need a Savior, the hurting still need healing, and we all need the Church. Our work has not slowed down, quite the opposite. We are thankful for technology that we can use to continue to have Bible studies, healing groups, church plant schools, and seminary-level training. The Lord always makes a way!

We are so very thankful for each of you and your support of this ministry. We hope you and your families are safe and sound. We hope by the time this letter reaches you, things have gotten to a more familiar pattern and pace – a new normal. We hope you are back to work, if you were furloughed.

We know you faithfully pray for us. Please let us know how to pray for you and your family.

Thank you for your partnership with us in this ministry!
