The LORD watches over you— the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

REFLECTION
One thing that I have learned throughout the journey of my life is that no matter what comes our way, whether struggle or blessing, as one of God’s children we are firmly in God’s hand and there is no better place to be. There is no place on earth, no sin, no sickness, no prison that can move God’s children from Him. In a world stricken with uncertainty and fear, we as God’s children should be steadfast in our faith. We trust the Lord with all of our hearts because He is with us.
God is the great Protector and Helper. He has sent His helper the Holy Spirit to live in us. Oh, what a blessing this is. It is not me or we, it is He that protects and provides. It is our great God who surrounds us and seals our souls. To Him we must praise and give thanks this day. From this time forth and forevermore we rest securely in His hands.
PRAYER
Dear Father God, how good you are to me. I praise you this day and give you thanks because you are so very worthy. I thank you for being my protector and my shield. Thank you for keeping me firmly in your hands. It is you who guides my steps and you who gives me breath. Every beat of my heart tells me that I am in your thoughts. May I make you proud this day by sharing your goodness with those around me and being steadfast in trusting you. Help me to be a living example of what it is to be truly free. In the name above every other name I pray. Amen.
