During this time of year, I am always swept up in the harried pace and mountain of responsibilities, but, as we prepare our hearts for the celebration of our Savior’s birth, I want to allow for more moments to be still—to take stock in what the Lord has done this year and how truly good it is to walk with Him.
This year God has continued to allow us to partner with amazing people in the city and to see Him do great things. We have seen men and women in jail grow in Christ. We have seen leaders being trained for ministry through The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI). We have seen people mobilized to intercede for our city through prayer. We have seen a team assemble to translate TUMI for and train pastors in Africa!
What a God we serve! One who comes near to us with gentleness and humility, as a baby in a manger, but who comes with the intention to claim victory over the brokenness in our lives and our communities.
Thank you for your prayers and partnership. Your faithfulness is one of the ways that God ushers in His good news to our city.
