Smith February Prayer Letter

Dear Friends and Family,

One person or one organization can never accomplish a God-sized vision. As we live into our mission of empowering urban leaders and partnering with local churches to reach their cities with the Gospel, it takes much support and many partnerships to accomplish the work the Lord has given us.

One source of support we draw upon is a vast network of volunteers who serve beside us to equip leaders and strengthen churches. It has been a great privilege to have one of my closest and dearest friends partner with me this past year to offer classes at The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI) of Dallas. Reggie was my mentor in information technology decades ago. The Lord used him to teach me a career that served me well for many years.

Our relationship has always been rooted in Christ Jesus. Today, I am blessed to serve beside Reggie as we train students at TUMI Dallas, support him as he ministers to men’s groups around town, and dream together how we can prepare even more leaders in the DFW area and beyond for greater Kingdom expansion. Like so many others, he shares our heart is to see God’s Kingdom advanced in the poorest cities in America.

Beyond volunteers, like Reggie, we rely on many supporters who provide for our needs through prayerful intercession and financial gifts. Would you prayerfully consider supporting our work to empower urban leaders?

So many God has called need coaching, training, and resourcing. Please join us in empowering leaders through financial support or prayer. We are grateful for your partnership in the Gospel. Know that as you pray for us, we are praying for you. May the Lord continue to grant you the grace and strength needed to do all He puts before you.

For His Glory,

Ted Smith
