Empowering the Urban Poor of America
World Impact operates two camps in support of our church-planting ministries: The Oaks, near Los Angeles, and Morning Star Ranch, in rural Kansas. Each is designed to provide youth-camping experiences and family vacations to inner-city residents at affordable prices.

Morning Star Ranch is a camp and conference ministry of World Impact dedicated to serve the urban poor of America in the name of Jesus Christ. Each summer, there is a summer camp experience for urban children and teens from World Impact’s Midwest ministries as well as adult, organizational, family and church retreats throughout the year.
“World Impact and TUMI breathed new life into me when I surrendered to Jesus Christ while in prison. They provided vision, they provided hope, and they provided me with a unapologetic Perspective on the Gospel message which changed the entire trajectory of my life.”– Michael T. Vander Horst

“I have learned to trust in the Lord and that nothing is impossible with Him. God has heard my prayers. I have seen families being restored; people winning their life-long battles with alcoholism and drug abuse; teenagers learning that God is faithful. It is a blessing to serve with World Impact.”– Jessica Moore
“Through all the studying and teaching, God has used TUMI as medicine for my soul and spiritual growth.”– Zoila Sánchez

“World Impact understands urban ministry in a way very few others do. Their intentional focus on indigenous leaders is an amazing asset, and I am honored to be in partnership with this ministry.”– Chris Brooks
