World Impact Dallas seeks to evangelize, equip and empower indigenous leaders for church-plant movements among the urban poor all across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Our Dallas ministry partners with churches in the DFW area.
World Impact Dallas has a mission to partner with indigenous leaders called to plant church all across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We currently have four teams that have gone through the Evangel School of Urban Church Planting and four additional teams scheduled to go through the training in 2016. These teams are being trained to plant churches in under-resourced areas. We provide coaching, mentoring, and various resources to help teams plant healthy local churches. We also have strong partnerships with local urban churches who we are privileged to partner with to transform communities together.
The Urban Ministry Institute of Dallas
The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI) of Dallas currently offers leadership training for students at two locations in Dallas. Our director, Ted Smith has worked with seven ministry partners who launched TUMI sites since 2015. Juan Pablo Herrera oversees the Instituto Ministerial Urbano (IMU) de Dallas, which offers classes at World Impact Dallas. He also oversees IMU locations in Guadalajara, Mexico, and Cuba. Together the Dallas ministry has seen nearly 100 students graduate in Texas, Mexico, and Cuba since 2010.

The Dallas Ministry Developers program is vibrant! Through our Associates program, indigenous contractors and ministry support staff, we are able to employ dozens of leaders in Dallas that are already planting churches, facilitating TUMI sites, establishing church associations and participating in other urban ministry.
