When Big John first started taking classes through The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI) he was not sure if he could handle the work. However, as he describes it, through TUMI’s focus on the least and the lost, and through God’s graciousness, it has been a life changing experience.
He will graduate the TUMI program in three years and God has put it on his heart to be a pastor. He describes himself as “not your average, ordinary pastor… but I can reach people nobody else can touch.”
