Our Month of Gratitude

This past June marked my husband’s and my 31st year of ministry with World Impact. We raised our children in the city and this is our home. Over the years we have seen many changes in our ministry; changes in leadership, changes in staff and changes in how we do our ministry. The one thing that has not changed is our goal. Our focus continues to be to fulfill the Great Commission. We continue to desire to reach the lost and disciple, equip and empower them to then to the work of the Gospel, reaching others to disciple, equip and empower others in their own communities.

Andy and I came from a farming community 31 years ago. We had very little in common with those we came to minister among. We made many mistakes but also found lifelong friendships. Over the years we have remained essentially the same people. We continue to make mistakes and learn, but one thing that we do share in common with those we minister alongside and partner with is you, those who financially and prayerfully support us.

We would not be here without you who believe in our mission. Those who give and pray have enabled us to stay on this mission field. Those who give and pray have helped send kids to our camps, educate kids in our schools, underwrite the cost of adult men’s and women’s retreats, our Evangel church planting schools for pastors and lay leaders—just to name a few initiatives that wouldn't be possible without you.

What we share in common is our gratitude. The population in which we work typically does not have extra money for camps, training resources or schools. We are so thankful for you who give to offset the amount folks have to pay.

We pray that the Lord bless each of you who has given or continues to give toward our ministry and for those of you, who may not be able to give but faithfully pray.  We consider you our partners in ministry and praise the Lord for you!
