All over the United States, World Impact is partnering with church planters by providing resources and the encouragement they need. These men and women are part of a growing network of World Impact Associates. Two such Associates are transforming their community in San Bernadino, California.
Harold and Amie Hines both are pastors, graduates of the Evangel School of Urban Church Planting, and church planters. They are both bi-vocational pastors who have a heart for serving the underprivileged and under-resourced area of San Bernardino. Currently their congregation has about 50 to 60 attendees, and is growing.
Harold is a World Impact Associate who works alongside Daniel Gutierrez, a missionary with World Impact, as a coach for the Evangel School of Urban Church Planting. Harold is a dynamic individual who is constantly looking for innovative ideas the team can utilize to reach pastors in the Adelanto and San Bernardino areas.
He is also working on gathering pastors and meeting on the first Saturday of every month to start an Urban Church Association. Both Harold and Amie have a food distribution program that serves close to 300 meals per week out of the local community center. Along with this program, they also share a meal after each Sunday service, and do service evangelism every Saturday to pray and invite people to their Sunday program. It is a privilege and an honor to work alongside them in the ministry. We see great things stored in their future!
